What makes us passionate about the RySe System?
We spent the last few years assisting our students evolve their business's and learning. We know their is an interest in a product like this that needs to be affordable, accessible and easy to use. Meet John Pellen - Key Designer behind RySe.
John won battle of the bands 3 years in a row. He also has a degree in music and sound. Whilst working on stage with the Screaming Jets and the Butterfly Effect he learnt why big named musicians use brands such as Behringer and Sony. He also discovered why systems that need to be plugged into computers and laptops can be unreliable with software updates and becoming obsolete when the new model comes out.
After weeks of testing tech that many gurus recommended he eliminated the fluff and came up with a reliable and affordable system that is easy to use and never needs a software update or pc.
What’s in the box and why did John choose these pieces of equipment?
- Cardioid Microphone with metal desk stand.
We decided to go with the cardioid microphone over the lapel microphone due to sound quality. Your client will have a lapel microphone. The dynamic microphone reduces the amount of editing required which means less work for you..
- Mixer
This is a plug and play mixer. It has smooth button turns (so you wont make janky noises whilst recording) and it never needs updating as it is a stand alone system. All the mixers we were looking at required you to plug them into your computer and have software updates. If the item had a new model released then the system would be useless in a few years (imagine it like a phone that's still good but the providers don't support it anymore). We didn't want this! and we wanted the device to run fully independent without needing to be plugged into a pc or laptop.
- Headphones One set for you and one set for your client. We chose over the ear headphones for comfort and immersion. The client headphones also have a microphone attached so when they talk to you, you will b able to hear them. NOTE - The headphones vary based on availability.
- Recorder with pre loaded music - You can also Bluetooth your phone/tablet to the device to play your favourite tracks from Spotify, YouTube music etc (why not connect with 4 other people and have a silent disco :P It's so easy to use! If you want new music just plug the recorder into your computer and transfer the music across. Done!
- RySe comes in a hard shell case as it is FULLY PORTABLE!
This is an investment and if it is protected properly you wont need to buy another one for many years to come (if ever!). The hard case protects your device from dust and as the system is portable if you drop it you wont have to stress to much.
- All Cables, Full instructional setup and Rechargeable Battery Pack We wanted RySe to operate without the need for main power. This made it fully portable for group sessions and gave a freedom of movement anywhere you are! BUT - if you want to plug it into the wall you can :)
Full Step by Step Training
Inside our exclusive training area you will gain access to a step by step digital course. The course also includes training for editing your audios in Audacity - a free software that is readily available.
Perhaps you would like to run a group session with up to 4 other people listening in. In our store you can purchase a 5 way splitter that will allow 4 other people to listen to you for a group session or workshop. Currently a wait time for delivery is 4-6 weeks as this is a pre-order product. This means we build them on demand.
